How do you take out a stain in the carpet?

My son took a dump in the bedroom and it's still there and it stinks alot what can I do to get the stain away and the smell so far Ive tryed clorox and Resolve for carpets

  • Maybe try something called Awesome you can get it at a dollar tree, walmart, or dollar store

  • I've used baking soda with warm water sprinkled on it and let it sit for a few minutes and scrub. When the baking soda dries scrub again and vacuum.

  • Try laundry detergent. My aunt uses it whenever her dog goes on the carpet and it works better than any carpet treatment since they're made to get out tough stains.

  • KidsNPets is my favorite...sometimes you have to apply more than once but that stuff works great and is not expensive.

  • baking soda and water OR Resolve (scrub well with a brush) OR Bissell Pet Odor and Stain Remover with a carpet cleaner (All 3 if necessary).
