  • I think both have there benefits and disadvantages. I would say either wouldnt matter as long as they are healthy and happy.. I have 3 girls so I have no Idea what its like to have a boy..

  • I wanted a boy, got a boy but I'm sure it would have been equally as nice to have a girl first. We have two boys, another boy on the way, and I love it :) He is a wonderful big brother, and I'm sure my second will be a wonderful big brother too.

  • I wanted a girl first really bad for some weird reason. I had a girl and then went on to have a boy and another girl.

  • I wanted a girl, got a boy, but honestly I wouldn't trade him for anything. I'm happy.

I would like a girl next time, but if not, well it wasn't meant to be and I won't be trying a 3rd time.

  • A boy 'cause my DH didn't have ANY family, he was the only one left, and I wanted for us to keep the family name going...and we had a boy - Praise Jesus! - and then another one 3 yrs. later....and then I had my tubes tied ! LOL...our youngest is a ...let's say energetic one, very charming, sweet and funny, but constantly pushing the envelope :)

  • I really, really wanted a boy. I got a girl. She is the best thing ever! I wouldn't trade her for my life. I still want a boy, but I am happy if I am never to have another child again.
