so this week my hubby celebrated his 30th and I planned a surprise party for him last night, turned out great but his family was either late or didn't show up at all. Are there any other wife's out there that this would bother?

  • My husbands family doesn't call on his birthday or father's day, even though they get PISSED if he doesn't call his dad on either of those days. I dislike my inlaws anyway. I hope you had a great party and didn't let this spoil your mood!!!

  • Well, this would bother me. But, I have learned to ask my husband if it bothers him, b/c it's his family. I think he would say," no it doesnt bother me, the most important ppl were here tonight."
Next time you see the family members that didn't bother with a call, KILL them with kindness. This not only helps in the forgivness process, but makes you feel better for rising above. Good luck sista. Please call on me if ya need some more positive encouragement. I have been there done that;)
