  • I don't think there is really much you can do about now. Take a pain killer do some light stretching.... Next time you work out do lots of Stretching once your muscles warm up and at the end of your workout and drink lots of water.

  • You need to let them rest and heal, sounds to me you over did it. Always leave a day in between each muscle group so this does not happen.

  • Apply a deep heating rub--like Ben Gay or my personal favorite "Zostrix." You can buy the latter at larger chain pharmacies CVS or Walgreen's--use only a pea-sized amount--you will feel the deep heating working to release the knots!

  • Epsom salts, advil, rest. Drink lots of water and eat a banana.

  • Try some ice rather than heat. If its an overuse injury, heat will only inflame the area more. ice it then rest and take some ibprofen to help. Make sure you're warming up and then stretching after (like 10 minutes!) Its better to cut your work out a little short to stretch properly if time is an issue. You're not going to cheat yourself by doing this, you will only help.
