Jenavecia or Carissa for baby girl

We really love both names and can't decide for one, we love that they are both unique. I know a lot of ppl get overwhelmed with the name Jenavecia (Pronounced: Jena-vee-cia) but once you say it, it really grows on you :) Thanks in advance

  • If she likes them both then how about using versions of both names? Does she have a middle name chosen? If so, then go with the name that sounds best with the first, middle and last names. We chose our DD middle name(my grandmothers name) and then chose a first name that went with it.

  • Carissa. I had no idea how to even say the first name when I saw it...which means everyone else would be mispronouncing her name or getting confused as well. Not something I would want my child to have to deal with.

  • I like Carissa, it's a really sweet name. But Jenavecia is pretty too, but hard to pronounce, but then you could nickname her Jena.

  • Carissa!

What about Jenavieve? I think with Jenavecia... if you have to tell us how it's supposed to be said, it's too complicated. She'll forever have to correct people on how it's pronounced and spelled.

    Jenalee, Jenavie?
    Vanecia?
