How should I clean this stuffed animal?

I have a lamb that was given to me when I was born. I'm going to be 22 at the end of this month so its pretty old. It has a music box in it that, amazingly, still works. I'd like to clean it up and give it to my daughter, but I don't want to do anything that might break the music box. Any ideas?

  • Take the music box out (slit the seams and take it out, and remove the stuffing. Hand wash in mild soap or ask a dry cleaner if they can clean it. Then restuff with fresh stuffing and re-insert the music box.

  • try spraying Mean Green on it and using the sponge as mentioned above, that stuff cleans everything.

  • and you can put it in a bag with baking soda (animal must be dry to do this) then seal and shake. brush off excess- this will help it smell better- unless you want to squirt it with a fabric freshener.
