Home remedies for bugs eating my flowers?

Is there anything I can do to stop the bugs from eating my flowers? They are destroying them! And I was hoping to find a "home remedy" so I don't have to go buy some chemical stuff...

  • I just add a little dish soap to a water bottle and lightly spray the leaves. It seems to work for me. Not sure what kind of bugs you have.
Ladybugs work great for outdoor plants.

  • Cayenne pepper and water... Mix them half & half and spray. It will keep away animals & many insects
You can also do the same with dish soap & water for a wider array of insects

  • 1 garlic bulb, chopped or ground
    1 quart water
1 small onion, chopped or ground
    1 tablespoon liquid soap detergent
    1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
Mix all together except for the liquid soap. Add that and gently stir so as to avoid tons of bubbles. Store in fridge and use when needed. Should keep up to a month or so, maybe longer.
