Do you let your children play in the rain? Why or why not?

  • We do if it's warm enough out. With two kids that have asthma we can't let them when it's chilly. As long as there is no lightning we are all about it! Why not, it's not going to hurt them, and the more you teach kids about things such as rain/thunder/lightning the less they will be scared. JMO :)

  • no. she hates the rain. if we have to be out in it she will just stand there with her head down, fists clenched, crying. we have to carry her. she is 3.

  • Yeah......I used to love playing in the rain when I was a kid. I still go out and splash around with them! But they can only play in it if there is no lightning and it's not cold out.

  • Yup-it is a lot of fun to run around in the rain and jump in puddles. As long as there is no thunder and lightening, they are more than welcome to....and most of the time I am out there with them.

  • Yes. If it's not a thunderstorm. Getting wet won't hurt them.
