Has anyone had a chiropractior get rid of ear infections?

my 2 year old I think has another ear infection and I'm pretty sure the dr is going to suggest tubes. But I had a chiropractor tell me she could cure the problem.

  • I have had friends have great success w/ chiropractors for ear infections. There is a great bk you should look at No More Amoxicillin: Preventing and Treating Ear and Respiratory Infections Without Antibiotics by Mary Ann Block

For my oldest son he gets ear infections if he eats dairy, for my 2nd son it's nuts, and for my youngest it's dairy, eggs, & wheat. When I was a kid I got them when I ate dairy.

  • I'd give it a try- I personally haven't had it happen with myself, but my stepmother in law did it with her daughter. she had chronic infections and she was on one antibiotic after another. Chiropractor cured it in a few treatments, she stopped having those problems.

It's hard to understand, but chiropractors and alternative medicine can often help with that sort of thing. I urge you to give it a shot!

  • i would try chiropractic before drugs. a good number of ear infections are viral, and antibiotics won't help...but they could make the body more resistant when you really need an antibiotic for a bacterial infection.
a misalignment could very well prevent drainage, and create an environment for infections. getting adjusted is optimizing your health without drugs or minor surgery. i would be so scared to give my kids antibiotics or tubes.
i have 5 kids, and all were adjusted since they were born, and we have had one ear issue.

  • A ruptured ear drum caused hearing loss for my DH and his sister because ther Mother didn't believe in antibiotics either. It happens all the time...on THIS planet anyway.
