  • Its how they were brought up! Its so easy to hate but takes a lot to love!

  • They lack a sense of humor? I really couldn't tell you. Perhaps they were spurned in the past, perhaps it is just how they were raised. The reasons are as individual as the persons!

  • I think some people are just self-centered. It's hard for them to imagine how their own words and actions might negatively affect another person. And if they do and they don't care, I think it's because they just can't understand that other people have feelings just as they do.

  • Because that's how their parents and sadly, their churches taught them to be.

The in-laws used to know a so-called Christian preacher who would constantly preach a form of hate ... if you didn't believe EXACTLY the same way he did/does, you are/were going to hell.

  • I wonder too

  • Wait I have to take that first part back. Some people do learn to love even if they grew up in a hateful environment.

  • B/c thats what they feed there spirit.

Its in the tv shows they watch, the reports on the news channels, the music on the radios, the foods they eat, and the air they breath. Meam ppl have a wall built around them to protect their ego from getting hurt. But really, underneath all that anger is pain. A good relief for that is laughter...

  • Sometimes it is all done in the name of God! lol!

  • Sadly, it's part of human nature. We have egos, our egos like being right and the best way to stroke them is by going on and on about how everyone else is wrong. There's not much we can do to stop the hatred in others, all we can do is not fall into that trap ourselves and be an example.

  • Hate is part and parcel of religion in general. The O.T. deity, Yahweh, was particularly hateful, ordering the extermination of thousands and thousands of people--including members of his own "chosen" people. Christians killing Muslims in the crusades and now, GETTING killed in the Iraq war . Catholics and Protestants killing each other in Ireland. Catholics killing heretics (pick any decade here). Muslims killing Americans because their religion says they should. You get back what you put out. Christians hating gays, pagans, atheists, abortionists, witches and each other. Jesus needs to come back and redo his love and peace thing. People just don't seem to be getting the message.
