Any home remedies for warts?

Anyone have had warts and tried a home remedies that actually worked?

  • yes. go to the vitamin aisle of your drug store and get some 100 % vitamin c pills, crush them up, add water and mix to a paste, put the paste on the wart and put a band aid over it. you'll see it significantly decrease in size even the next day, repeat daily till it's gone

  • No kidding.....DUCT TAPE! My doc recommended this for dd and I'll be darned if it worked!! But it HAS to be duct tape - not scotch or masking or anything else. Who knew you could go MacGuiver (sp?) on warts!?!?!?

  • I have also heard Duct Tape. I think it "suffocates" them, in a way...

  • I never believed the duct tape method until I tried it out of desperation because both my doctor's and my podiatrist's cures (freezing, burning, applying salicylic acid) did absolutely nothing.

  • love2snorkel70 --I put a plus for the one that you said sufficated the wart...I new what you ment and so should everyone else that went to highschool. I have heard about the duct tape thing and nothing worked. Maybe I didnt try it long enough.

  • Anyone know how long is long enough for the duct tape method? I have a good size wart ,say about half the size of your pinky.
