Why do my cucumber blossom but not produce?

  • If the weather has been too hot or too cold the blossoms will not pollinate properly. It can also result in having all male flowers so the plants won't produce.

  • I'm having this same problem with my tomatoes! I'm thinking it's from all the hot weather we've been having.

  • Veggies are mostly water. Cucumbers in particular...you just literally have to water the crap out of them. They are very sensitive to drying out.
