CAn anyone teach me how to cloth diaper real quick??

OK, well i am soooo poor until friday that i wont be able to buy some diapers until we get paid! we'll be fine after that, i just won't make it, i have like 5 diapers left. anyways, i have some of the gerber cloth pads (or burp cloths, thats what ive used them for!) and i was thinking i could use them in a pinch until fri. but, i do not know how fold them & secure them into a diaper for my 5 month old son! any tips would be greatfully appreciated!! thanx!

  • Try www.diaperpin.com for hints and you will also need covers unless you don't put clothes over them. We cloth diapered full time and I even used t-shirts in a pinch if needed.

  • You should rinse them first...dump the soiled diaper as much as you can into the toilet and either rinse in toilet or shower. You don't want poo residue all in your washer. Good luck and glad you had somewhat of a resort for diapering

  • You don't need to rinse them first, or dunk in the toilet. Just throw them into the wash and run them through once w/o soap, cold water, to wash away the poop, then wash as usual.

I have never rinsed my diapers, and have never had any poop residue!
