  • stop stressing over stupid stuff. stop thinking that you have anxiety because you dont, you are just paranoid like every other person with anxiety. relax. do things that are fun, take time out of your day for yourself. excersizing and eating healthy usually helps with stuff liek that

  • controlled breathing
    exercise - yoga is a good one
    busy yourself with other activities.
    lavender - get some lavender candles to burn, or lavender spray, or even lavender lotion
    chocolate ;o) Chocolate causes your body to release the same chemicals that are released when are very happy

  • I'm sure there are herbal supplements too, but cutting out caffeine, having very little sugar and getting plenty of sleep are miracle workers.

  • I agree with aliceinalgonac, DarkFaeryand CalypsoSpell.

    I would also add that you should learn to recognize negative and destructive thought patterns. What we think in our minds affects our feelings and our feelings lead us into depression. Start with the thoughts, control them. Recognize your inner voice (the things you tell yourself mentally). You can learn to catch thought patterns that start you on a downward spiral before they affect your feelings and emotions. This is one way you can direct your thoughts and moods instead of letting them direct you.

  • I have really bad anxiety and paranoia. I was taking medicine for it when I was in high school, but after my refill ran out, I never went back to the doctor about it. Though I think I really need to now. It's been about 3 years.

    When I start getting anxious, I usually find things to distract me. Reading, watching TV, scrapbooking, playing with my animals, reading to my daughter, cleaning, organizing things, exercising, taking a nap and stopping everything to have a "relax time". Relax time is when I sit there, take several deep, long breaths, think about things that I enjoy/make me happy and stretch a little. I always feel better afterward.

    I hope you find something that helps you soon. As for something herbal and organic, I'm sure there's something out there but I have no idea.
