Would you pay for someones medication if they didn't have insurance?

Would you help buy a persons medication if they needed it.If they needed their anti-depressants or panic attack meds.Or if their baby needed it?

  • Hmm...great question.. Im going to bump it..
Anyway.. I don't think I would. I've seen too many people addicted to pills.. and I want no part of that. If their baby needed it..in a heartbeat.
I wouldn't want people to take advantage of me though.
And if it was a close friend--then I would.

  • Maybe, but I would hand over hand help them sign up with the county to get medical insurance..hoping they already got it to get to the appt in the first place (she can alway go to an ER and do that huge deal to get meds that day).

  • If I felt like they really need it then yes I would, but if it seems like they only want it for an addiction then no I would not.

  • Sure. When my brother was young and had no insurance, I bought his insulin and syringes all the time. He has type 1 diabetes, what was I to do, let him die? I would do the same for a stranger if I knew they needed it, and I had the money. Some drugs now days though are very expensive without insurance.
