TMI What is 'normal' daily out put during a menstrual cycle?

I use a diva cup so I can measure. I have emptied it twice today between 7 and 2:30 to equal 1.5 oz. plus leakage. (I'm still learning.) My bleeding only last 4 days and I feel so tied weak and sick the whole time! I have a ppt for aug 4. I just wonder if this is 'normal.'

  • The entire average monthly flow is approximately 1 to 1.4 ounces (30-40 ml).

  • I am not sure what a diva cup is but I bleed for about 4 days and the first day I use very light tampon then the rest of the days a panty liner. But some women just bleed a lot. I did when I was a teen.

  • before I got on BC pills, I would fill a super tampon in less than an hour for about 48 hours. It was my "normal" I never got it checked out or anything.
