please help me asap

over the weekend my 18 monthold son was running 102.8 fever i called the doctor on call and they said that he would proball be okay but tomake an app for tuesday...well i tried but i cant get one until thursday....he isnt runnnig a fever anymore but he is extremely cranky and i dont know what to do with him

  • Just make sure he gets plenty of fluid and rests. If his fever has gone that is a good sign.

  • My kids always get cranky when they're sick. Fluids, rest, just hang out and watch TV.

  • yeah he is peeing and pooping normal but he is just walking around whining and i dont know what to do for him he wants his grandma but she dont want him cuz he is whiny

  • With a fever you need to buy an over-the-counter children's medicine to reduce the fever. You don't want his fever to climb any higher. He could have any number of children's illnesses but there is no way to know by your description. You can't wait till Thursday to reduce his fever.

  • They won't see a sick child until Thursday? First thing I would do is find a new ped. (just sayin) Until then try to keep him hydrated and comfy. Poor guy!

  • Yeah, find a new doctor!! lol Maybe though they just think nothings wrong with him now since he doesn't have a fever anymore. It could just be something totally unrelated at this point!
