  • I have heard yogurt is supposed to be better than other forms of dairy, but I've chosen not to give my son any dairy at all for at least a year just to be on the safe side.

  • yes,look for full fat versions and no citrus or strawberries,this includes kiwi

  • Yes, from age 6 mos.

    But look for full-fat ones till age 2.
    Also look for flavors your child already are familiar with and tolerate.

  • yes yogurt, mashed potatoes, apple sauce, pretty much anything she can physically eat doesnt have to be baby food. i have a food processor and my baby ate our meals from about 8 months on.....i just puraed them.

  • My kids used to love plain yogurt mixed with stewed fruit from the baby jar and wheatgerm. gobbled it up.

  • Full fat, low sugar varieties are the best. I just started my son on Greek Yogurt...Dr. Oz raves about it. It has several active cultures. It is plain so I just mix it with some fruit. Yum!
