  • I wouldn't especially something like doritos....they just don't seem to chew them well enough and it can really kind of hurt them.Chips can be sharpish.

  • My son is 2 1/2 and I have been giving him chips since he turn 1 but he only eats them around me or my husband, sitting down and  he eats one at a time.

  • no way! bad junk food...why would you want to introduce their growing, vulnerable digestive system to such a harsh food with awful additives. it's like poison, right?

  • I give my 16 month them occasionally, but he has always been very good at chewing and I'm always right there with him. I know a friend's daughter didn't chew very well so they didn't give her things like that until she was older.

  • I wouldnt really give him/her chips, kinda hard to eat for babies. Cheesedoodles are good, they melt and are easy to chew. If you are going to give your baby some chips, steer for more healthy stuff.

  • No chips but if we are just having sandwhiches and chip and dip for dinner, I give my daughter bugles with dip. They do not break off in sharp edges like chips and she seems to love them. My mom gave me that hint when my daughter was wanting our chips and dip one night. My sister had severe spastic CP and couldnt eat chips or she would choke on them, my mom found bugles as a great alternative to chips for her.
