  • Jesus is the Son of God. Prophesied about in the Old Testament as the Messiah. He lived and died as written in the New Testament. He set for us an example of how we ought to believe and live. He is the author and giver of salvation. He is our sacrafice, our mediator between us and God. When Jesus asked Peter this very question, Peter simply stated " You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

  • Jesus is a man who thought he was the Messiah and convinced other people to believe him and follow him. While I believe the man existed and I believe he was a good man (which we can't say for any Modern Day claims of being a Messiah - David Koresh and Jim Jones come to mind)...I don't believe he was God or is the son of God and I think what he was trying to do or did do then, was vastly over rated and turned into a for profit organization which tarnished anything he may have stood for - imo of course.

  • Me personally.

Jesus was one of the MANY prophets/avatars of God that has walked this earth.

Not the son of God. Just another enlightened divine one who was here to teach and guide people.. Just like: Krishna, Rama, Siddartha (The Buddha), Muhammad........................

I believe since the beginning of man. There most likely have been many who have been enlightened onese/avatars of God who have walked this earth teaching and guiding people. Since written History is a fairly recent development (in scope of the history of the world) we only know of a few that have actually been recorded in history.

  • A man who may or may not have existed but inspired many to be kind to others, and also inspired war against many. Like many things belief in him can lead to great things or horrible things it all depends on how people take things.

  • There is so much historical evidence for Jesus' existence (even from sources that were hostile to Christianity) that no serious scholar doubts that He was a real historical figure.
