dd is 4 months old. She has been increasingly upset throughout the day. She drools non-stop (as in at least 3 outfits and 5 bibs a day). She gnaws HARD on my knuckles, frozen objects, and everything else she can get into her mouth.
How long might it take until those little puppies finally poke through her gums?

  • It could be any day now, or weeks. My son's went up and down for a while before they broke through. Just be patient and keep on giving her things to chew on.

  • It could even be months my DD started drooling and acting like she was teething at about 4 months as well now at 7 months her first tooth just broke through.

  • Typically, the average first tooth pokes through around 7 mos. Obviously, some kids are earlier than others, and some are later.
I wouldn't expect it now though - but you never know!
Have you tried giving her a wet washcloth to sooth her gums?
Enjoy that gumless smile while you can! :)
