Spin off from another question. If you cheated would your husband divorce you or try to work it out?

Yeah, I know we say we won't cheat and most of us never would. Purely "what if" here.

  • I have cheated. Not physically but emotionally and I don't know how or even why my husband puts up with me but we are working it out, and I have been doing better. We have been doing better. I can't imagine my life without him, really. I think I was just suffering from insanity or something when I thought I could love someone else. Or maybe I just didn't feel loved enough so I searched for it elsewhere, when all along, I realized no one can love me more than my husband can.

  • As long as i was willing to work it out, he would want to work it out.

i know, because i almost cheated on him once. and he forgave me 100%

  • Knowing my husband's history, and that he has been cheated on, he would probably divorce me. Neither of us would cheat though.

  • I would like to believe he would want to work things out. Knowing him and me..Trust would just be hard to rebuild

  • it would definately be divorce, but i would do the same thing. not that i would ever cheat on him, but if either of us would be divorce either way. if you love someone you DON'T do that to them.

  • He would leave for a while but he will come back.

  • most likely he would leave me like he left his ex wife who cheated on him and his fiance who cheated on him before her ( he was in the military and had a bad habit of being with women who couldnt handle being alone).

  • We'd work it out most likely. I think a lot of times cheating is a deeper problem that needs to be worked thru if you both really love each other and really want to be together. But that being said, I can't see myself cheating, or my SO
