  • If you're just going to be on a regular bike, yes. But they have safer helmets for dirt bikes and such.

  • Bikes and skateboarding, yes, the same. Snowboarding is different.

  • My little one has a different helmet for most things. The only one that is the same is biking/skateboarding.

  • You have to have different helmets for different sports. Each helmet takes a hit different so if you play baseball or ride a bike you do need the right helmet.

  • There are multi-sport helmets, but they're really only for biking, skateboarding. Obviously for football my kids wear football helmets. They don't snowboard or ski and we don't wear helmets for tobogganning or horseback riding - though we would use their bike/skateboarding helmets for that if we did.

  • Different sports different helmets. There are helmets for baseball, football, bike riding/skateboarding, horseriding, etc. It is important to have the correct helmet for the specific sport..only way to help prevent injury.

  • Biking and Skateboarding - same helmet. Snowboarding/Skiing - they rent helmets since they go so infrequently.
Football, baseball, lacrosse, horseback riding, different helmets specifically purposed for that sport.
