  • My parents very regularly like about once a week. His Mom only sees my LO about 1-3 times a year (She hasn't seen her since Thanksgiving). BTW he sees his mom regularly.

  • my son sees my mom every few days since she lives about 1/2 mile from us. my dad lives in another state, so he doesn't see him but once or twice a year.

as for hubbys parents - they both live in different cities from us, so we dont see them but maybe once a month.

  • My MIL watches them during the day while my husband and I are at work. My mom comes up to visit about once a month. And my husband and I don't really have much to do with our dads; our kids have met their grandfathers, but I doubt they'll remember them.

  • My parents live 3 hours away so we go and visit once every couple of months and we stay for 3-4 days. His grandparents on the other side live a plane ride away for the winter months, so only once during the winter and once every couple weeks during the summer months when they are in the area again.

  • None of our parents live near us. My dad and stepmom have seen my daughter three times. When she was almost 3 weeks old they came down for a short visit, we visited at Christmas when she was 4 months, and then I visited with her at 6 months. Unless I go visit this month or in September, they probably won't see her again until Thanksgiving.
My mom saw her twice so far. She came for two weeks when my daughter was about 4 weeks old and then we met up with my mom for a week at my aunt's house when she was 6 months old. She is coming for a week around her birthday.
My MIL came for the first two weeks after she was born. We went to their house when she was 5 months old. My MIL visited again when she was 7 months and then we are meeting up with them and my SIL's family at the end of August, just after her birthday. My MIL is already planning a visit for October, too.

  • My parents see him everyday since they live with us. They watch our son while we are at work, and his dad's parents see him once a month or maybe longer depend since everytime my son's see his grandpa (dad side) he would cry uncontrollable, so we minimize the visit .

  • Grandparents on both sides live 15 min away and hardly ever see there grandchildren. However my mom does see them a little more but thats bc she doesnt have a spouse trying to keep her from them. They should be ashamed of themselfs but it might be better this way cause my husbands father was never there for him after his mom passed when he was only 16 and I dont want my children to feal abandoned too. Everything happens for a reason
