A no theme baby shower - DECOR?

I need your help ladies! I am hosting my sister's shower [see my other Qs] and I'm struggling a bit with decor. There's no theme - as far as characters are concerned. What type of decor can I use to make it pretty, chic but still make it feel like a baby shower?

  • Just use the colors pink/orblue or if she doesn't know the sex, then both or yellow. Stuff that says baby etc.

  • My STBMIL was telling me about plans for my baby shower and she is taking see through pink material and putting a candle inside and tying up the top in ribbon--the tying a little baby quote poem to it.. Cute idea! =)

  • i agree to go with yellow and greens if u don't know what you are having . but if u do know then u might want to go with the theme that their room will be . I knew I was having a girl and her room has the bug theme , so we had a bug diaper cake, and bug figures hanging around. and had streamers in all colors to liven up the room. My advice is to do what u want , and if u have people helping remeber u do have a choice on the shower and u can tell them what u want
