  • I still have trouble with stories of babies being hurt or killed. Shortly after my son was born, a baby had been left in a hot car and died. I couldn't pick up a paper for WEEKS after that.

  • Killings, specially those involving children. Rape, specially those involving children, I am disgusted by them but the reality is that they happen, truly sad!

  • For several years now I have given up watching the news altogether. Especially via TV/internet the news that is reported is just garbage. It could depress anyone. I do try to connect with news sources that focus on the positives in the world.

  • I no longer read any books depicting real life murder. I read a particularly bad 1 in 1995-never again. Fiction OK, but true murder, no!
