how can prepare shrimps other than butter ?

i would like more recipes on shrimps than using butter

  • I like shrimp stir fry with oriental veggies like baby corn, water chestnuts,etc.

  • steam them with vinegar and Old Bay Seasoning. The recipe is on the box. They are delicious this way.

  • Shrimp wiggle (make a white cream sauce and put the shrimp in and put on biscuits), shrimp pizza, shrimp on salad...hmm trying to think of stuff my parents used to make. I grew up in Maine and always had an abundance of shrimp. I don't think I ever had it with butter though.

  • Marinate cooked shrimp in olive oil with diced tomatoes and minced garlic for at least 2 hours. Toss with hot linguine and serve.

  • Grill them, fry them, saute and add to pasta (shrimp are excellent in carbanara)

  • Shrimp is nice in Jumbalya
    You can also grill them. You can find tropical sauce recipes to drizzle overtop before grilling.
    It's also great in Fetachini Alfredo! YUM!

  • skewer and marinate in 1/4 cup tequila, 1/4 cup lime juice cumin, onion powder, for 30 min then grill until pink

  • 1. Use them in gumbo (add to gumbo 4 minutes before it is done)
    2. EVOO, Tony Chaceries, Cayenne, black pepper and lemon pepper and grill for 3 minutes per side (depending on size)
    3. fry with a cornmeal batter
    4. Bring a large pot of water to boil with Tony Chaceries, lemons, cayenne, onions, garlic, worcheshire and salt. Boil shrimp for 4 minutes
