  • DO I always bake a cake, give presents, make a huge deal? YES
DO we always spent a ton and invite the world? NO. A party to me can be just us 4 or whomever else can make it, you know?

  • Yes, they pick out the theme they want and everything. Granted right now a "party" consists of cake, frozen yogurt, and dinner with family, and of course presents

  • Nope. We had one for my oldest's first birthday, it was such a disaster we haven't had one since... When they are older and can have their own friends over we will start them again, but while they are this young there is just no point when we can do something bigger and better that day without having to do the Party thing.

  • i try to, even if its something small but if something happens that stops the party from happening i dont make a big deal out of it- as long as there is a cake, a present or 2 and some balloons kids will be happy!

  • Yes. She is almost 4 so still young, but our family is big into birthdays so i think we will be having a party every year... While she is young they will just be family/ our close friends... and when she gets into school age Im guessing we will start having 2 "functions" of something- maybe just out to dinner with family & then a party for school friends or something? IDK! EKKK

Also DD is born on halloween, its always been our fav holiday (even before dd was thought of) so im sure there will be some pretty big parties in the future...
