  • anything cool. put the aloe vera in the freezer and then apply it ... sorry you got burned so badly.. I've been there many times!!! (don't forget to stay hydrated, and applying vitamin e will help as well)

  • I'm very fair and a redhead, so sunburn is something I deal with every summer! I've used a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water to cool the burn. It doesn't smell very nice, but it works! Feel better soon!

  • i was also gonna suggest vinegar...i never mixed it tho..i just poured vingear into a dish, put a facecloth in it, and then plopped it onto my shoulders (where my burn ALWAYS happens)

  • Yeah. I got this awesome aloe at Walmart. It contains Lidocaine (which is an awesome pain killer). Works perfectly and smells great! It's the Walmart brand and it's blue.

  • I agree with Robsmommy, vinegar works wonders. Solarcaine Aloe Extra Burn Relief also works great.

  • Drink tons of water too... you need to rehydrate your skin from the inside out!
