  • Just this week! We're trying to have our home re-financed, so it had to be done! Thankfully, all 3 scores have gone up!

  • Last week.

I use 3 times a year (use a different company each time) for my credit report and to check my credit score. Both are free if you do it right.

  • Each of the 3 major credit agency (experian, transunion, and equifax) allow you to check them for once a year for a very small fee/free. You just have to go directly to their site. We check it every 4 months, using ONE of the free/low cost credit check from EACH credit agency directly. Janurary we check with experian; May-transunion; September-equifax; Janurary the cycle starts over again with a check with experian. It works because then it's free/low cost and we are directly dealing with the actual credit agency and not a 3rd party handler like or any of the other sites out there that claim to check your credit report. We are allowed to check every 4 months like that because each of the credit agencies allow you the consumer 1 check per 12 months. We staggering who we are checking with that we we can check every 4 months.

  • I have never checked mine. I'm sure it sucks. I doubt I have any credit because I have always paid my bills with cash.
