  • Yes, but you can usually register them there the first night. They have pre-registration so they have an idea of the number of kids for teachers, snacks and such.

  • Yes. They need to know who to contact in case of an emergency.

  • Yes there is registration. This is just basic info, they want to know how many are attending and how to contact everyone.

  • its contact don't have to give an address (if you don't want them to send notices, invites, etc.)..but telephone #s are important, unless the parent wants to hang out the whole time. plus, at the VBS my ds attended, the church had all the info in the computer, each child had a i.d. #, and you couldn't leave without corresponding i.d.'s. its a safetly precaution..which i was glad to see, since we were new in town, they didn't know us, and VBS is usually a madhouse with kids running everywhere, especially before/after each night's 'event' started. i found this to be very helpful, and calming, for me, the parent.

  • yes, but they can also register the morning of. its part food prep, part a safety pro-caution, and part possible evangelizing. there is a box that can be checked that basically says "we dont want to know more about Jesus". my dad's the preacher and he doesnt do follow ups w/ the ppl who check that box.
