pre-k

My son starts pre-k at the end of August and i haven't recieved a school list yet. What kind of things do they need? I'd like to get a jump start so i don't have to get it all at once.

  • My son was in Pre-K last year and this was their school supply list. About half way through the year they asked for more paper towels, kleenex, sandwhich bags, and baby wipes. They ran out of those things quickly!

    2 rolls of paper towels

    2 regular size towels

*The towels are for nap time. Please make sure that the towels will fit in

your child’s book bag. Blankets, pillows, and large towels will be sent

    home.

    1 box of sandwich bags

    1 pack of baby wipes

    1 regular size book bag

    *no wheels

1 change of clothes to be kept at school

1 bottle of liquid hand soap

    paper towels
    tissues
    hand soap
    disinfecting wipes
    lysol spray

    paint

  • Our preK's are asked to bring a blanket, 2 changes of clothes (in season) and I think that's it. There's show and tell once a week to bring a toy to show (and maybe share, so watch out!) and occasionally a parent will send a lovey to sleep with (stuffed animal or something, but we try to discourage that because EVERYbody wants one.)

  • My sons pre k is at the local elementary school and is only from 8:30-11:15. I dont think they will need nap time stuff. Pre-k in maryland unless it is combined with a daycare is generally only a few hours. I can't wait though. I'm going to take him book bag shopping next weekend
