  • Country.... I'd rather drive to town, than listen to all the traffic in the city... I don't think I'd do well in a city, I like to go out in my jammies in the morning and check my flowers, veggies, etc...

  • I live in a small town now but am going to look at a house in the country tonight..I love the peacefulness of the country but I'm spoiled by being close to everything in town. Our town is very small so its nice to be in town but Im ready for creeks and corn fields.

  • I grew up in a rural town close enough to a city that if we needed something we didn't have in town, we weren't totally out of luck. We could always find something to do within a reasonable distance. I live in Japan now (dh is military) and it is very urban and I HATE it. The pollution, traffic congestion, noise, its all overwhelming and frustrating. There's a reason cities are called concrete jungles.

  • After living in both...i like the country. I prefer hearing my neighbors cows mooing over cars at 3 am. I live in the country, but close enough to the city that I can still go there if I want.
