Do you play for fun or to win?

My husband and I have game nights and he always rubs it in when he wins so now I get a kick out of beating him and I rub it in too.

  • LOL! Me and my SO are the same. He makes such a big deal out of him winning. It's always nice to throw it back in his face.

  • Both. My husband is much better at strategy games than I am. For word games I have to hold back so I don't walk all over him. :)

  • It depends on what it is that I'm competing in. Usually for fun, but I might as well try to win while I'm at it. :)

  • Depends on the game really. I mean there are a lot of multiplayer games that are to be played for fun and not to win.

  • I play for fun...if I happen to win, I don't usually rub it in peoples' faces lol

  • I play to win but if I don't I try to act like I'm not bothered by it (a big fat lie, lol) when he rubs it in that he beat me.

    He's a turd, lol.

  • OMG we have game night all the time and I never win. Nor does hubby that much. None of the people we play with rub it in. We do it for the laughs and friendship. Life is to short to do silly stuff like that.

  • My take is that if you can't have fun playing, it isn't worth your time. Winning is a bonus but not the reason I play.
