Anyone know what this is - a twitching in my stomach?

I am guessing that it is small muscle spasms. It really reminds me of when I was pregnant and was getting lots of little kicks right in a row. It is right below my left boob in my stomach, so not really in the center, off to the side. It is just really strange. Any ideas?

  • It's most likely your intestines moving food through them. They do twitch as they work.

  • They are called muscle fasciculations. They are small muscle twitches. Most of the time, they are benign. If you are uncomfortable get a consult to see a neurologist so he/she can accurately diagnose.
