sex education in the schools

OK, has anyone's school acutally presented them with a lesson plan for this class?
I see all kinds of posts of people up in arms about sex ed in kindergarten.

seems like many are assuming what they will teach. has anyone seen a actual lesson plan for their kids schools? I'd like to hear what the actual plan is-
a link would be great!

  • I'll look for the link. Personally I'm all for it! Sex ed in our house starts earlier than that! But the "Kindergarten Sex Ed" I was reading about was nothing more than teaching the proper names for the body parts - Penis, Vulva, Vagina, Uterus, Testicles... That was it, no real sex.

  • Most of what you want is on page 36 of the Curriculum...

    Please excuse my mis-spelling above.

  • btw- I'm all for it too- problem was the article quoted people having concerns that certain things would be taught- from what I saw for the actual proposal, they misunderstood.

A quote is just stating what someone said, it's not necessarily printing out a actual fact.
