  • Baking, build a fort, playdoh, movie, coloring, have a friend over for a playdate, go to library, read books, have them help with house cleaning.

  • Is it warm enough to go out and play in the rain? (And do you have shoes that can be sacrificed?) Also.........Someone on here posted the idea of writing a story where each person took turns adding the next sentence. Sounded like fun.

  • I LOVE playing in the rain! Take your kiddo out puddle jumping if there is no lightning and it's warm enough!

  • jump in the car and go storm chasing, point out the different clouds and their names, then get ice cream and eat it in the car and listen to the rain on the windows, listen to the radio Then go through a car wash all this should kill about 1.5h

  • my kids like to paint,play on the wii, and they love to help me bake on a stormy day. the aroma of sugar cookies is awesome on those days
