Anyone had a gain before they lost weight?

I started my exercise routine and eating healthier about 2 weeks ago and have gained 5lbs. Any thoughts?

  • If you're exercising very frequently and strenuously you could be building muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, so you'll gain weight. A better tracker will be your body measurements. Watch for a loss in inches.

  • Yes I did. I worked out and used weights and gained muscle wieght. Dont worry so much about what the scale says anyway. Just go by how you feel and how you feel when you put clothes on. You could still be loosing inches. Good Luck!
