What is your favorite "brand" of nursing pads?

I'm only 20w5d so I didn't really expect that I would need to buy more nursing pads this early. With my son I used some in a pink box, I think the brand started with C... Curritt maybe? I didn't really like them though because they would get soaked very easily and then would stick to me and kind of disintegrate.

So what brand have you had the best luck with? I would prefer disposable over reusable but willing to try anything if there are major benefits!

  • I used the Johnsons disposable ones. I also had bamboo cloth reusables.

  • Do either of those come with the sticky backside? Another thing the Curritts did was shift in my bra at first... I have a large chest so that may have something to do with it, but none the less really annoying. lol

  • I don't remember the brand but I used the reusable cotton pads. They didn't stick to my bra but I loved that I could wash them and after a washing or two they got really soft and were so much more comfortable and seemed more sturdy than the disposable, so maybe that is why they didn't shift around on me. So I just wanted to give a shout out to the reusables.

  • I never needed them while nursing my daughter. I never leaked. I don't to know what to expect this time, but I asked my mom to make me these http://www.passionatehomemaking.com/2009/04/homemade-nursing-pads.html#more-5045.

  • I bought LilyPadz. They are a little expensive but you can reuse them. Here is a link.
