  • This is a trick question because if you get one you get the other. They are both caused by the exact same virus.

  • Neither (and I've actually not ever had the Chicken Pox, 'cause I'm immune). In order to get Shingles, you must first have the Chicken Pox, because Shingles is the Chicken Pox virus reactivated in your body, typically because you are too stressed.

  • Well, I guess now, you do not have to get chicken pox or shingles because they have a shot for both. If I had to choose, I would pick chicken pox. I could go for a nice AVEENO oatmeal bath!!
