Natural ways to get rid of fleas!

We just got back from vacation and noticed we have fleas bad. Our carpet and stuff seems infested. What can we use that would be safe for the baby who crawls on the floor and beddings?

  • Borax washing powder.

Usually in a green box. You shake it out on the carpet as evenly as you can....let it sit there for as long as you can stand it, then vacuum and get rid of the bag.

We had fleas I can promise this worked for us!

  • umm.....get a night light, and put a bowl of soapy water underneath it. the fleas will jump towards the light, and land in the water.

  • In addition to the carpet cleaning, you could put your pets on a brewer's yeast/garlic supplement.

  • I've done the light and soap water deal and it works but it takes a long time and it's only maintence. It doesn't kill the eggs which is why you don't get rid of them. It would be better to spray everything down and keep the baby off the floor for a week than to keep fighting the fleas. Living with fleas is horriable.
