  • Shoo. This question really depends on the child. My daughter has only 1 bowel movement a day (if that), so of course she doesn't go through that many diapers. I don't change her diaper every time she urinates in it either, so for us, I'd say go through 4-6 diapers a day maybe. I mean, how many times do you go to the bathroom a day vs. anyone else. As they get older you'll use less, but I'd say a month from now, you'll probably cut back by 1-3 diapers a day.

  • By 8 months with all my kids, it was 6 a day, tops - unless they had diarrhea, or pooped right after I changed them, or soemthing like that. My son is now 18 months and 3-4 a day is more than sufficient on a typical day.

  • At that age I always set out 7 diapers for the day. Usually that was just right occasionally we would use more or less but I think 7 would be sufficient.
