  • kind of. But, think there are a select few who can go without it & put that energy towards something else. I have met a few people who could care less about sex & happily go through life without it. But, i do believe there is a basic instinct in most people to want to be as close as possible with the one they love.

  • Individually? No. For the human race as a whole? Yes.

    I guess it's a basic need in that we need to repopulate and reproduce, but I don't think it's a need in that I need food, water, air, and sex.
