sitting to close to tv

sometimes when my dd watches her show she will get excited and go right up to the screen is this bad for her or is that just a myth

  • It causes short term eye strain, but not long term damage. But why suffer short term eyestrain? Tired achy eyes and headaches are no fun! Just gently remind her to move back!

  • I don't think getting close to the TV is a problem, however, the AAP says NO TV for kids under the age of 2, so make sure you really limit her screen time.
