Do you have a link between chocolate and stress?

I sware the more stressful things get at points of the day, the more chocolate I go for. I have a stash of M&Ms in the pantry and when things get crazy I grab a small handfull in passing. Maybe there is truth to it releasing a stress relieving properties.

  • well it has been shown to be just as helpful as prescriptions in treating depression, and it's an aphrodiaic. it's becasue of the endoriphins that your body releases when you eat it.

  • I remember reading in a book (some mystery novel type thing) that chocolate releases endorphins. I leaped on that!
I don't know for sure, but I do know that grabbing a few of the peanut M&Ms in the bowl on the counter or chugging some chocolate milk can make me feel better.
