  • They are *supposed* to get them in the order you see them in their mouth - front to back basically. But that's schmoop. I haven't seen many kids get their teeth "in order". One of mine had the front 4, then got the eye teeth, then the first set of molars, then teeth 4-8 (2nd set from front, in front of eye teeth). The whole idea that all kids get all their teeth in a specific order is bunk. And, some kids are born with teeth, some get them at 2 months, some at 6, some not til after a year. Just like all other developmental things, kids do everything differently. Your child will get teeth on God's time, in the order He chose before time.

  • Usually they get their front teeth first. So his first teeth should be his top and/or bottom teeth. Some babies don't get their teeth until they are almost one. Maybe he will be a late bloomer in the teeth department.

  • Don't worry, mine didn't get her first until 11 months and then they all popped out after that!

  • My daughter got her first tooth after she turned one. Don't worry about it at all...

  • My oldest didn't get his first tooth until he was 14 months old . They will come in. Usually the front teeth come in first but they could come in at any order. Again, my oldest got his molars first.
