Financial reform:community banks too small to succeed?

This is what is coming cm ladies.Fabulous right? Just why isn't anything being done about fannie mae and freddie mac could it because the very ones who caused the housing problem wrote this reform bill?

Fees,fees,and more fees.Small banks will not be able to compete.

  • I was surprised Fannie and Freddie were not included they were a big reason the housing market was in trouble. I guess Barney Frank is sticking to his story that both are fundamentally sound still. If this was about financial reform both would have been included in the bill.

  • Love the fact that car dealers, which are notorious for predatory lending, are also exempt. Wall Street is laughing, this is a joke. The people and businesses without power will get hurt, the lobbyists have bought off the Congress.

  • They didn't fix Fannie and Freddie have been esponged of any wrong doing. They are pet entities of the dems. To fix them would be to admit they caused a problem. Barney Frands and Pelosi will not stand for that.

    Jesse, I'm not sure what your answer means. Fand F have not been expunged of anything. They caused this and the Dems will make sure we keep paying for it.
