  • When my daughter was that age, I was a SAHM. We waited until kindergarten, although she did attend a playgroup at our church on Wednesday mornings. Even though we could have easily afforded preschool, it was an unnecessary expense. Besides, what's the rush? Children grow up far too quickly!

  • When I was a SAHM I sent my DS to preschool. I thought it would be best for him to start to learn how to play with others without disabilities in that type of environment. He also went to Early Intervention for his autism.

  • We are trying to get our 3 & 4 year olds in to pre-school this fall. Neither of them have any access to kids beyond each other and I am pregnant with a new baby (due in Dec) so we think giving them the opportunity to be with and around other kids is going to be good for them and having them out of the house so that I can care for a new baby will also be a benefit for the new baby and the family as a whole.
