Would you allow your children to swim in the gulf since the BP oil spill even if you didn't "see any effects" of oil in the water or on the beach????

  • My kids are 64, 61 and 58, I don't think I could stop them if they wanted to go in.

  • Well....My oldest DD just got back today from the Texas FFA Convention in Corpus Christy. She said the beaches were gorgeous & clear with absolutely no evidence anything has happened! The oil spill is not affecting the beaches in Texas. The media is drumming up hype that is unreal according to residents and merchants down there...and scaring a lot of people off unnecessarily. The FFA students swam in the ocean everyday!
