  • i take 8mg of motrin,,,drink alot of cool water,,,make sure you eat something when you take the motrin, dont need a stomache ache :),,,then i go into my bedroom close the shades turn on a fan and get comfortable and lay down. i suffer from migraines and sometimes a short nap will relieve the pain. also if you get these often you might want to watch and see if something triggers them,,stress,,your period,,,my migraines are come on a week before my period and last for 3 days. I have also used aromatherapy and lavender oil massaged into the temple area has helped me,,,mostly with relaxing but its worth a shot :)

  • Excedrin migraine and a lot of water. Generally speaking, headaches can be a first sign of dehydration. Especially if you were in the sun a lot today. Drink some cool, not ice cold water. And rest.

  • I have a prescription for Fioricet. I usually take those and an 800 mg Motrin. It works wonders..Plus I drink a lot of water. If I don't have fioricet, 4 200 mg tabs of motrin work, just not as fast.
